Legendary place for traveler who want to enjoy solo traditional food. The place often crowded from traveller so if you are in hurry this place might not be a good place but if you want to taste local food then its the good place. The fried chicken and gudeg is food to order here

The serundeng, kerecek and the lodeh is really good.Watch out for the spicy Lodeh. Everything else is good but not 'you must try' good.

When I went there, the place was crowded, but the place is really big so even a big group can fit in the restaurant. The food is really good, there are various choices of meals, the service is also really quick, and it is also clean. Definitely recommended for big groups and also families if they are visiting Solo.. 👌👍

It's old restaurant, but they're able to maintain their tasty dishes. Never wrong to have their Racikan Selat Solo, Nasi Liwet, Ayam Kremes, or Nasi Gudeg. I always come back whenever visiting Solo

The resto is famous, however foods were just ok, although they offered many food varieties. Just be patient with a slow irresponsive service...

Food was great, but the place was not. They dont have any aircon inside, on summer with the temperature hits 37 degrees its really not enjoyable eating here.

It's a favourite stop amongst those visiting this town. They serve solo specialties that are kid friendly and adult friendly too. The food came out in timely manner and tasty. May be need to add more staff or we came on a very busy day.

Not very clean but has various set of delicious foods like ayam goreng, timlo, and gudeg. We visited when it got very crowded so we have to line up a moment but the staffs handled it very well and fast.

For authentic cuisine (gudeg) it was so-so... There's another place that has better taste. Ayam Goreng Kremes tastes better than Gudeg. The venue is quite big, so it's a good place if you visit with a large group. The variety of the menu is quite a lot too...

Ayam utuh goreng keremes (fried chicken) was amazingly tasty, tender meat & crispy. Nasi gudeg special was also popular. Ayam kecap (stir fried chicken meat with onion in oyster soy sauce) a good company for rice. A restaurant that offers diversed menu of chinese and central javanese food. Good lunch experience with my family.

Great restaurants for traditional gudeg dishes. It has several branches including in Jakarta. The restaurant also served several traditional dishes like gado gado (salad peanuts sauce), opor (meat in coconut sauce) and traditional fried/grill chicken in black bean sauce. Must try for Solo style gudeg.

They have the great tasty super delicious food! Crowded at lunch time (11-3 p.m) but I don't know about dinner since I came there only twice and at noon. Still, super great food with a big restaurant

A nice clean restaurant that mostly packed during lunch time, Adem Ayem serves different kind of Indonesian food including Gudeg and Fried Chicken. The food is pretty good though mostly fried food but I do find their spiciness a bit too excessive for my taste.

Famous restaurant in Solo, usually crowed when dinner time.My favorite menu is "Ayam goreng keremes" with salty taste, crispy, savory and the flavor is pervasive.You also can try other specialized local food in solo like selat solo or gudeg adem ayem in here.The restaurant is quite big so although there is waiting list it will not take long time to be seated.The price is quite expensive compare to other local restaurant in Solo.

The fried chicken is delicious. Gudeg is okay to good. Great traditional family place. Beware on peak hour, the service could take very long long time.

Im sorry but its not really niceThey serve us very very late, for something i guess it should be ready ( something they cook before )They serve food in cold,And they dont serve properly - WHYYY ??? -OK lets say me and my friend was order the same menu ( like selat solo ? )They serve the menu with cucumber in my plate .. but i dont see any carrotIn my frd's plate .. i see the carrot without cucumber Sorry .. i dnt really enjoy this place .. Just try and tell your experience here

We were a fairly large group, and they mixed up one or two of the orders. The kid's fruit juices came last. The beef could have been a little more tender for the elderly.
